What is collagen induction therapy?
Collagen induction therapy creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin so it responds by building new collagen and elastin. At NR SKIN it is Procell Microchanneling: similar to microneedling, but a more evolved and effective method that targets a wide range of skin concerns without cosmetic surgery or lasers. $300, 60 minutes.
Which facial is best for fine lines and wrinkles?
It depends on what is driving them. Does it hurt, and is there downtime?
LED light therapy is painless with zero downtime. Microdermabrasion and the Oxygen Facial are non-invasive. Chemical peels and microchanneling are stronger treatments: Nikki goes over what to expect, including any redness or peeling, before you book, and sets the strength to your skin.
How soon will I see results, and how many sessions do I need?
Exfoliating treatments (microdermabrasion, chemical peel, oxygen facial) show a smoother, brighter surface right after the appointment. Collagen treatments (microchanneling, LED) work by building new collagen, so results build over time across a series of sessions. Nikki maps out a plan at your first visit.
Can I add an anti-aging boost to any facial?
Yes. Eye Rise ($15) for dark circles, fine lines, puffiness and crow's feet, and Necks Generation ($25) for visible firming and hydration of the neck. Each adds 15 minutes to any facial.
What should I use at home between treatments?
Two products from the NR SKIN line do the most for aging skin: Peptide Lift Firming Cream, a peptide lifting cream that signals your skin to produce collagen and elastin without the irritation of retinol; and Vitamin CBE + Ferulic, the morning antioxidant serum; vitamin C is a cofactor your skin needs to build collagen.
